The latest installations of the company’s modular electric actuators for the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) are for two water supply pipelines  – CW205, which covers 30km, and CW308. DEWA was the first major end user in the Middle East to implement field bus technology in its water distribution network. AUMA played a key role supporting DEWA with provision of Modbus redundant actuators.

The Dubai utility takes pride in the fact that its tap water is of an equivalent standard to bottled water, with tanks cleaned to exacting World Health Organisation (WHO) standards.
