Joins hands with Tianjin Municipal People’s Government to co-sponsor 2011 Desalination and Water Re-use international forum
Tianjin Municipal People’s Government and IDA will host the 2011 Desalination and Water Reuse International Forum to be held at the Tianjin Saixiang Hotel in Tianjin, China on April 6-8, 2011. With its theme of ‘Sustainable Solutions for the Future,’ the Forum will provide a platform for communication between entrepreneurs, experts and professors, and promote the cooperation in R&D and projects in the field of desalination between China and the world.
This will be the fourth time that IDA and the Tianjin Municipal People’s Government have jointly hosted an International Desalination Forum. Previous Forums, with accompanying Exhibitions, were held in 2004, 2006, and 2008 to promote the development of Chinese seawater desalination and utilization programmes.
The State Oceanic Administration, PR China, will also be sponsor of the 2011 Forum, which is supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. For information, please visit www.idadesal.org
