September 5-11, 2010, Stockholm

The World Water Week in Stockholm is the annual meeting place for the planet’s most urgent water-related issues. Organised by the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI), it brings together experts, practitioners, decision makers and leaders from around the globe to exchange ideas, foster new thinking and develop solutions. The thematic scope for 2010 is ‘The Water Quality Challenge – Prevention, Wise Use and Abatement.’ The 2010 World Water Week will analyse promising examples, case studies and leading-edge technologies that are in use around the world, and draw attention to effective response measures related to pollution prevention, wise resource use and sound abatement practices and allow for an analysis of the alternatives to improve the current and future water quality problems.
